The apartment was located on the sunset side of the hill on a quiet street. The apartment itself was very cosy and had a great oven and gas cooker for any home cooked meals.
Everything was clean and check in was very easy.
We had an issue with the standing fan and the host quickly replaced it the next morning which was awesome.
We stayed in late June and found the 35 degree days far too hot to be comfortable without air conditioning. The apartment would only reach close to 20 degrees around 7am. We knew there wouldn’t be any a/c from the listing but underestimated how hot and loud a fan would be.
The kitchen has all the good utilities like oven and elements but was missing a few things. A pair of wine glasses, a decent sized chopping board.
The listing also said a coffee machine was included but this was a stove top percolator, and the ironing facilities were a can of ironing spray which I’ve never heard of.
Also sadly you can’t take advantage of the view as no windows face the surroundings and there is a high hedge line. You can see a portion of the wonderful landscape from the patio though.
