We have seen so many animals on our first game drive. All the staff very friendly and helpfull. They let you feel at home. The bird life is also exceptional. Very relaxing we enjoyed every moment staying at Sable Ranch Lodge Selfsorg.

The staff is really great here and the accommodation rustic but is clean and comfortable. You are very close to a few resorts like klein paradys, bosveld oasis ect for kids entertainment during the day.
We quite well traveled and personally i think the value is very low for the price you are paying for accommodation here, which I guess is a matter of perspective at the end of the day... You are paying for accommodation only on a farm. No kids entertainment apart from a small play area with 2swings and a slide, communal pool (with no bathroom or changing rooms - you have to walk back to your accommodation if the kids need to go).
No marked trails but you can walk on the dirt road on the farm. Game drives are R450 per person which is probably the only thing you can do here. Another odd thing which we not use to is no towels or anything provided - i thought own towels for swimming is a given but very rare that you dont have basics like towels. You need to clean your own dishes ect but no sponges are provided. Personally expecting more for 3k+ per evening.
