I can't say enough about Mark and Sheila. I felt like I was staying with friends and family rather than being at a hostel. Everyone was included in all the activities we did together. Plus, having beers in the pool was a great time. I will always be staying at The Royal Rat when I return to Placencia.

Super hostal à 10 minutes en voiture du centre de Placencia. Marc et Sheila sont des hôtes formidables, toujours prêts à vous rendre service. L’ambiance est très conviviale, la piscine est très agréable, la cuisine est très bien équipée pour cuisiner. Excellent rapport qualité prix ! Attention à la chaleur dans les chambres mais il y a des ventilateurs.

La disponibilité et gentillesse de l’équipe. La propreté des lieux. Relaxer dans la piscine. Des vélos disponibles gratuitement pour rejoindre Placencia Village ou faire son épicerie. Une cuisine bien équipée. Le fonctionnement du bar basé sur la confiance.

La musique parfois un peu trop forte.
