Wonderful having a balcony overlooking the water and courtyard below. Very clean. Nice decor and lighting. Quiet. The maids were friendly and it was nice having the room cleaned while we were out. Very good breakfast, and the space where it's served is spectacular!
The staff who checked us in and showed us up the many many stairs were not very friendly and just kind of pointed up the last stairs and said "it's up there". If you stay in Vernazza you have to plan on a LOT of steep, twisty stairs -- I hadn't understood that the hotel rooms building was separate from the reception building (a restaurant) -- but we made it with our suitcases. For that kind of money I expect more personal attention/care. Also the room was extremely small.

good view from the 3rd floor and very nice view from the restaurant.. open sea view. the breakfast is good and its not too crowded.
this hotel is located on the up hill, you need good energy to get there and we are given room at level 3.
someone mess around with the fire alarm and it rings at 11:44pm, everybody rush out and luckily it was only a false alarm.
