The location was in central Tbilisi.
This listing is a total scam. The apartment is not habitable for several reasons. It is in the center of a massive construction project with machinery and trucks right outside working day and night. There are no sidewalks or streets for many blocks in any direction so we had to walk through an active muddy construction site for blocks with all our luggage in the middle of the night to find the unit. There was no running water for the majority of our stay and only a trickle when it was “working”. We booked for 9 nights and paid up front, but after staying for 2 nights (with a 2 night side trip interval) we were forced to vacate and find a hotel. The day we left there was no running water all day. We were not able to sleep at all due to the constant noise and vibrations from jackhammers. Unable to shower or use the toilet or sink, we had no choice but to leave. The owner refused to refund us anything. We asked numerous times for assistance with these issues and were met with AI responses alternating between meaningless assurances that the issues were being cured and that this was our fault because we knew the problems existed. Obviously, nobody would rent this apartment with knowledge of these facts. Furthermore, due to all the recent negative reviews, we confirmed several times before arrival that there were no issues. All assurances we received were absolute lies. The AC also didn’t work in the main part of the apartment, and with the single window being in the front bedroom, the apartment was always hot and uncomfortable. This was the least of the problems however. We are shocked that booking.com or any platform would allow this fraudulent listing.
