Nice cottage with space for all six of us. Parking space for 1-2 cars in front of the house and a hot tub in the garden which worked well (but remember to heat it up well in advance). Breakfast available at the inn across the street. Bus stop to Edinburgh city center within five minutes walk.
A bit of traffic from cars going to the other nearby houses, which didn't bother us that much.

Cute cottage with character.
Nice hot shower.
Noisy location. Garden was the access road to the large Manor House so cars regularly came through when the kids were using the hot tub. Vans parked right outside the gates, despite large signs stating no parking allowed. No information in the property about how to use hot tub, nearest shops, info on recycling or WiFi etc. and….
no bottle opener!. Sent message but got no reply. Ended up going to knock on a neighbours door and borrowed from them.
Kitchen seems lovely but could do with more useful items like chopping boards/bottle openers.
Email saying that there would be dishwasher tablets to use - no dishwasher that we could find!
The master bedroom bed was tiny so we ended up swapping with two smaller kids.
Overall, disappointing experience. Noisy, scruffy location, vans and trucks parked outside the gates.
