About this house rental
This truly unique property is set into the old Walled Garden at Arniston. The house is secluded and sits by a gentle running stream which flows to the Sunken Garden. with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms it is a ideal retreat for families with pets. Due to our rural location we advise guests have their own vehicle.
Ground Floor: Entrance Hall, sitting room with open fire. Dining room with wood burning stove. Well equipped kitchen with kitchen table and large glass doors which open out on to the Walled Garden. Downstairs WC and wash hand basin. Utility room.
First Floor: 1 double bedroom with en suite shower, WC and wash hand basin. 1 twin room. 1 bunk room. Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and wash hand basin.

We stayed in the Gardener's House, just off the sunken garden. The house was comfortable and clean with views of the fields. The grounds are an adventure waiting to happen, you can walk to the River South Esk and pick up a trail to Old Temple Kirk or down to Gore Glen Woodland Park. Have your camera ready! It was so quiet and peaceful throughout the stay. It was our second time staying at Arniston House and would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the Gardeners Cottage for 3 nights and really would have loved to stay longer. It is very comfortable, really quiet and such a special place to stay! There is so much to do and see in the area, as well a central for so many beautiful day trips. The cottage is so lovely to just stay and chill a few days as well. What a privilege to stay there.

Gardner’s house is one of those places where you walk through the front door and feel held by the warmth and beauty of the place. After being there for five minutes, I truly felt that I didn’t ever want to leave. It truly is a peaceful refuge for rest and relaxation.

Lovely property in great setting. Very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen (did lack a bottle opener). The six of us had a great stay. Would highly recommend!
