Great communication. Prompt and thorough. Friendly family. Coffee! A blessed quiet nights sleep. Lovely home. Very clean and orderly. We were so tired from 15 hr travel. Rest and sleep was welcome.
The only issue we had was how dangerously slippery the shower is when wet. If you try it you will understand.. I nearly fell turning around, and there was no safety bar to grasp. A fall could cause injury and end our trip before it barely started. A rubber shower mat would prevent a fall.
Other than that, I liked your home, room, and hospitality. Thank you.

The room and bathroom were very spacious and spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable. It was a very short and easy drive back to the airport and had free driveway parking. Communication was very clear and we were made to feel welcome. It was very reasonably priced.
There is access to a shared kitchen which I think might also be the host’s kitchen (it seemed to be her house but that wasn’t totally clear). However we would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom as we had an early start and didn’t want to disturb others. The area itself was a nice residential neighbourhood with a nice trail by the estuary, but there wasn’t much else to do without a drive.

The room 8 was big and cozy, ideal for short stay. Closer to YVR, and other shopping areas. Good place for an overnight stay right before your flight and to shop last minute before leaving.
The only small issue is noise from other guests and hosts coming and going in. But it was honestly not an issue for me because it stops after the quiet time designated by the host.

Location, proximity to the airport
1. There was no private parking in the driveway. Since the property is rented on room-basis, there were two cars already in the driveway and three additional cars were parked on the road. We also had to park on the road in order not to block anyone
2. The occupants of one of the rooms had cooked a strong odor meal and the entire ground floor was smelling of the same when we entered the premises
