The lodge was exactly as described and in the photos - everything was new, clean and good quality. The welcome basket of lovely snacks & cakes and all the drinks - amazing and do welcome after a long journey. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the sun - the little one age 3 was safe as the gate shuts. We walked down to the river and threw stones & went up to the play park and outdoor swimming pool. We bought a few essentials like milk at the little site shop & got a coffee at the cafe. Communication was excellent from the host. All the gadgets had their instructions plus the instruction manual meant we could work everything ! We travelled about locally there is so much to do and visit.

Lovely lodge. Very clean and plenty of space. Very well equipped. Hosts left us a great welcome pack and there was milk in the fridge to have a cuppa on arrival - perfect!
