Modern amenities with beautiful gardens and pool area. Staff helpful in suggesting places to eat as no kit Chen present for lunch or dinner.
Needed scooter/ motorcycle to access main areas of town as main area of General Luna 15 minutes by car away.

Todavía recuerdo cuando estábamos configurando nuestras vacaciones y vimos Islaya en Booking. Al principio, no estabamos del todo convencidos pues, era un lugar nuevo y no tenía ninguna reseña. Les escribí con una pregunta sobre sus servicios y en seguida nos contestaron por lo que decidimos lanzarnos a la piscina y reservar. La verdad es que nosotros estuvimos increíble. El alojamiento está a unos 7 minutos en moto del centro de General Luna que por así decirlo, es el epicentro turístico de Siargao. Esos 7 minutos, hacen que cuando estás en el alojamiento, pienses que estés en medio de la nada pero al final estés casi en medio de todo. Estuvimos muy cómodos con las instalaciones, muy a gusto con la propiedad y el personal que, son súper atentos y absolutamente felices en general. Repetiríamos sin pensarlo.

Took a chance on this place despite the limited reviews and I’m so glad I did.
If you’re looking for a peaceful stay away from the crowds of General Luna, this is a hidden gem. The property had only been open for about a month during my stay, but the team made the experience exceptional. Michelle’s Filipino breakfast every morning was delicious, and Kuya Milo and Mika were incredibly friendly and always happy to recommend places to visit and things to do.
The room and bathroom were spotless (a big plus for me), the pool was clean and warm, and the Wi-Fi was strong throughout my stay. They also have solar panels and a backup generator, which is reassuring if you’re familiar with Siargao’s occasional power issues.
Located about 10 minutes by bike from the main area, with sari-sari stores and petrol nearby, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility.
My only complaint? I eventually had to check out.
