Sehr modernes, neuwertiges 1-Zimmer - Appartment, geschmackvoll eingerichtet.
Der digitale checkin ist (bei fast allen Unterkünften, die dies bei Booking.com 'anbieten') extrem nervig. Problematisch unter Datenschutzbedingungen ist wg. möglichem Missbrauch die leider oft geforderte Kopie bzw. Fotos vom Personalausweis, entweder über eine exta-App, oder gar per WhatsApp oder E-Mail, wovor sogar Booking.com selbst warnt. Bei dieser Buchung wurde mein Vorschlag akzeptiert, dass ich die Daten angebe, den Ausweis aber nur vor Ort herzeige.
2 Sachen haben mich in der Wohnung gestört: an mehreren Stellen stehen diese Duftgläser mit Holzstäbchen, dadurch 'duftet' es überall total penetrant und künstlich. Leider lässt sich das Appartement auch kaum mit Frischluft lüften, da es nur 2 kleine Fenster unter der Decke gibt (Untergeschoss), die führen direkt auf den Gehweg, können also nicht dauerhaft offen bleiben. Durchzug gibt es nur, wenn die Appartment- und die entfernte Hauseingangstüre gleichzeitig offen sind.

The apartment was a delightful escape from the rigors of walking this stage of the Camino. Wonderfully comfortable bed, every amenity you could hope for, conditioner in the shower! They even provided treats. And the location was perfect - steps from the Camino and the sites you’ll want to see in Gernika.
