I loved this place! It felt like it was straight out of an episode of "Escape to the Country." Immaculate, charming, cosy, and welcoming. The garden was gorgeous and hosts Swannie and Wendy are wonderful!
Nothing. It was all just great. You'd be crazy not to stay here! The pub and a small grocery store are just moments away on foot. Ideal!

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. The Bothy was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, cosy and exactly as described. If anything, the photographs don’t do it justice – it felt even more beautiful in person and was much more spacious than we expected.
The hosts were absolutely wonderful – friendly, thoughtful and attentive without ever being intrusive. They struck the perfect balance of making us feel welcome while giving us complete privacy to enjoy our break.
We were so touched by all the thoughtful little extras waiting for us, including fresh milk, cake, biscuits and even ice lollies because of the hot weather. Those unexpected touches made us feel genuinely cared for rather than just another booking.
The garden was absolutely beautiful and such a peaceful place to sit and relax. It was immaculately maintained and really added to the whole experience.
We also met some of the lovely neighbours, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole stay feel even more special. Everything about our visit felt warm, relaxed and genuine. We left wishing we’d booked for longer.
Our only disappointment was that we only booked two nights! 😭😭😭 I did NOT want to leave.

We loved our stay at the bothy, it was very cozy but at the same time spacious. It has all you need to cook in or there are two restaurants nearby. The garden and outside space were amazing so we can’t wait for our next stay
There was a slight issue locking the back door and opening the door to the balcony but overall there were no problems
