We had a good stay at this hotel. The rooms are basic (literally beds in a big room) but had everything we needed. The AC worked well, as did the shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is exceptional, right on the beach, and there are some chairs and tables outside so you can enjoy it. Lots of cafes, surfs shops etc very close by. If you are expecting luxury then keep looking but if you want a clean and basic room on a budget, close to the beach then this is a good option.
It was quite noisy at night due to other travelers. The rooms face each other across an outside corridor so its impossible to sleep if there is a group of people sitting in the common area late at night. From the corridor rooms we could not hear the beach bar music.

Everything is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The location is very central, right where everything is happening, which makes it perfect if you want to be close to restaurants, bars and the lively part of the area.
If you prefer somewhere quieter, I would recommend staying a little further towards Pottuvil, where the beach is also more peaceful and there are fewer or no fishing boats.
The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Whenever we had any questions or problems, they responded immediately and always did their best to help us.
Overall, everything was exactly as described and we knew what to expect. A very good and honest listing!
It is actually quite difficult to write anything negative, especially because the staff genuinely put so much effort into making our stay pleasant and everything is pretty much exactly as shown and described.
That being said, there are a few things worth mentioning. The beds are quite small, the bins in the rooms were not emptied during our stay, and we had to ask for toilet paper whenever we needed more. The rooms are also relatively poorly soundproofed, so you can definitely hear people coming back late at night.
The sun loungers could also use an upgrade, as they are not particularly comfortable or practical, and some are located on the terrace rather than directly on the beach.
However, I really don’t want these points to make the hotel sound worse than it is. There were no unpleasant surprises and what you see in the pictures is essentially what you get. For a stay of a few days, especially if you value a very central location and friendly, helpful staff, it is absolutely fine.

Perfekte Lage , direkt am Strand und in der belebten Umgebung, super Café direkt an der Unterkunft. Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Tolle Sonnenaufgänge direkt vor der Tür!

Très bon emplacement sur la plage et sur la rue principale avec toutes les commodités. Gérant extrêmement aidant et disponible pour toute question et organisation des transports.
Pas de petit déjeuner. Chambres trop vétustes, très peu équipées, très humides, certaines sans fenêtre et sans eau chaude. On ne s’y est pas senti à l’aise. Très bruyant, pas isolé, et compte tenu du monde sur la plage et dans la rue, du bruit jusqu’à tard dans la nuit puis tôt le matin du fait des bateaux à moteur. Probablement plutôt adapté pour de jeunes fêtards que pour une famille .
