Friendly staff, cleanliness and comfort of room. Provision of small common room with tables and chairs, and provision of free tea and coffee on a trust basis.
The hotel had obviously been recently redecorated and its decor refreshed.
Being able to park free, opposite the hotel.
The very steep stairs with narrow treads! We understand that these are traditional to Dutch houses, but still as English people we found them a bit of a trial. It would have been helpful if we had known in advance that our room was up so many stairs. We are fairly elderly, at 68 and 70!
We thought there should have been a shelf or space beside the shower room sink for tooth brushes etc, rather than the shelf above the toilet - which as well as being somewhat unhygienic, created a risk that these items could quite easily be knocked off onto the toilet!
Proper space also to hang towels - the only place to do this was the oddly-placed rail that was positioned in front of the television.

De kamers zijn zoals ze aangeboden worden op Booking. We konden onze bagage al eerder afgeven - heel fijn omdat we wilden wandelen.
Eigenlijk niets. Wel handig om te weten dat de trap nogal stijl is met elkaar overlappende treden. Voor ons geen probleem maar iemand die moeilijk loopt misschien wel een belemmering.

Lovely rooms! Fun and comfortable!
It is not that I didn’t like it, but as the hotel is houses in a traditional Dutch building the stairs can seem steep for some guests, that may not be uses of such staircases
