We loved the history of the building and being able to share/experience that for a few days. We didnt realise the property was actually a palace, so once we entered the property we were blown away.
Amazing to stay in such a historical property and experience the way of yesteryear.
Beds were a little firm for me - however my husband likes a firm bed - so really a personal preference.

Un soggiorno davvero speciale in una dimora ricca di fascino, storia e charme.
Palazzo Negri Dosi è un luogo curato in ogni dettaglio, dove si percepiscono immediatamente l’eleganza e il carattere storico della proprietà. L’appartamento è ampio, confortevole e con finiture perfettamente integrate con l’atmosfera del luogo.
Bellissimo il giardino all’italiana, con bordure in bosso, magnolie secolari, statue, affreschi e tanti piccoli dettagli che rendono la permanenza ancora più suggestiva. Anche l’orto e gli spazi esterni sono mantenuti con grande attenzione.
La posizione è ottima, tranquilla e panoramica, affacciata sul fiume e immersa nel paesaggio della vallata di Pontremoli ma vicinissima al centro.
I proprietari sono estremamente disponibili, accoglienti e attenti, si ha davvero la sensazione di essere accolti in un luogo unico.

Verblijven in Palazzo Negri Dosi was voor ons veel meer dan een overnachting: het voelde als een voorrecht. Het is een eer om te mogen verblijven in zo’n historische, unieke en tegelijk kwetsbare plek, waar je de rijke geschiedenis van Pontremoli bijna letterlijk kunt voelen. Het palazzo maakt deel uit van het bijzondere erfgoed van de stad en ademt karakter en authenticiteit.
Er is simpelweg geen betere manier om Pontremoli te ontdekken dan vanuit dit schitterende decor. De ligging is perfect: midden in het historische centrum, op wandelafstand van de beste restaurants en culinaire hotspots, en toch verrassend rustig. De grote, prachtig onderhouden tuin is een oase van rust en maakt het verblijf nog specialer.
Wat ons eveneens zal bijblijven, is de warme ontvangst. Lydia verwelkomde ons met haar eeuwige glimlach, vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid. Giuseppe was een bijzonder charmante en uiterst responsieve gastheer die ervoor zorgde dat alles vlekkeloos verliep.
Van alle plekken waar ik ooit heb verbleven, staat Palazzo Negri Dosi met voorsprong op nummer één. Het combineert geschiedenis, schoonheid, gastvrijheid en authenticiteit op een manier die je zelden tegenkomt. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die Pontremoli op een unieke en onvergetelijke manier wil beleven.
