Clean, warm, well-equipped kitchen, milk in fridge, Nespresso, chocolates and biscuits to welcome guests, toiletries in bathroom, including toothpaste and toothbrush if needed. Rainwater and directional showerhead, good supply of hot water and plenty of towels. New furniture and furnishings, freshly painted. I didn't use the sofa or TV, but worked at the dining table with laptop in the evenings, and the chairs were comfortable to do so. On 77 bus route from Waterloo to Tooting via Vauxhall, and within 10 minute walk to tube and overground rail stations. Local grocery stores within 10 minute walk. Directions to property, which were needed as the little housing estate has bewildering layout house numbering. Very responsive host.
The front of the property was welcoming, but approach in the estate was less so. Although the property is perfect for a couple of weeks for one person, I wasn't confident to go out at nighttime on my own as a female who lives in a rural area. There was an iron, but the host has not yet bought an ironing board, so I used the table covered with a towel as a makeshift. I was amused to find no sheet on the bed, but plenty of clean linen in the hall cupboard, so I was able to make the bed. The security chain on the door needs fixing, the toilet cistern drips into the bowl. Minor things and the host had made a concerted effort to create a welcoming home away from home, but it was because of these things my overall rating isn't higher.

Stayed here for one night and had a pleasant experience. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. The location was convenient with good transport links. Check-in was easy, and the host was responsive and helpful. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend it to others.
