Dacha means “country house” in Ukrainian – a cozy place to rest, reconnect and feel at home. Nestled among beautiful redwood trees, fresh forest air, and distant sounds of the ocean, Dacha is the perfect place for me-time, quiet mornings, cozy nights, and a little everyday magic.
Dacha is especially well-suited for work-from-home professionals, people craving a slow and simple rest, nature lovers, readers, nappers, and anyone who appreciates relaxation. Dacha is located minutes away from coastal trails, beaches, ecological staircase, restaurants, pickle ball courts, Little River Golf Course, farmers markets, and many more activities including mushroom hunting !
Enjoy a full collection of different types of coffee, teas or hot cocoa while relaxing on the spacious deck or warm up by the fireplace on chilly evenings. Our outdoor area has been thoughtfully designed for guest to use day or night. Listen to birds sing, watch banana slugs wander by, hug a tree, or simply let yourself rest. The home has two bedrooms and a loft, comfortably sleeping up to 6 guests with 2 queen and 1 king bed.
For those working from home away from home, there is high-speed internet, a computer desk and computer chair in each of the queen bedrooms, so you can stay connected while still feeling tucked away in nature.
The primary loft has a king bed with ensuite bathroom, walk-in closet and vaulted ceilings.
Please note: This property shares walls with a neighboring unit. We kindly ask guests to be respectful of quiet hours (10:00 PM to 8:00 AM) and potential neighboring occupants.
Dacha is close to multiple beaches, hiking trails, horseback riding, the Skunk Train, and nearby restaurants and shops — perfect for both adventure and deep relaxation.
This is a smoke-free environment. Dogs are welcome--the property is not fenced but a wrap-around deck is enclosed. Please leash your dogs and pick up after them while outdoors – convenient pet stations are provided on property.
Guests will have their own off street parking area.
The home may not be suitable for small children due to steep stairs, a fireplace, and house not being child-proofed.
It is not suitable for parties, large gatherings, or loud activities that disturb the quiet way of life in this neighborhood.
