Please note that the lodge is under new management — disregard old reviews. There is nothing bad I could say about the property itself. It was clean, tidy, attractive, and well run. Staff were very helpful. We especially enjoyed our king room with fireplace, sofa bed, and whirlpool.
The only problem we had was not management’s fault. Booking.com had described our room as having a separate bedroom which was an important feature for our stay. This in no way diminishes the quality of the room— it’s just that we needed a separate bedroom.
