Kahului Airport is about 40 to 45 minutes away along Maui's west side coastline. A rental car is recommended, especially while the immediate Lahaina Shores area continues to recover and nearby shops and restaurants are limited. Beaches and activities around West Maui are best reached by car. Paid parking is available at the resort.

The area surrounding Lahaina Shores is still recovering from the 2023 Lahaina fire. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance and guests may observe local construction nearby.
