A lovely property that was close to the high street and where we needed to be to see visit our friends. Unfortunately we started off stressed as several messages throughout the day weren't responded to resulting in no key code on arrival. Our drive wasn't the best with a long 7 hour journey. I rung Booking.com customer service as the host didn't answer by messages or phone calls. Eventually when we got inside the property was beautifully presented with most things we required. Some things we had to search around for; including oven gloves, toaster and kitchen towel. The kitchen could use some tea towels. There was tea, coffee and sugar on arrival which was nice. The shops aren't too far and we did a little shopafterwards for milk. Just would be great if there was milk there and maybe some food just to get us started.
Bed was okay, but not amazingly comfortable and rooms were just enough space.
The living room was spacious and comfortable, but just needs extention cables to plug in phones when chilling on the sofa. There was a blanket which was a nice touch. The TV is big enough, needs slightly tilting downwards and Sky needs to be signed into by the host. We also had to sign into our own Amazon Prime account.
The place is a big dark, but still nice and quiet.
The bathrooom toilet roll holder is loose and one of the kitchen taps needs re-attaching.
Heating was easy to put on and worked quickly.
The matress wasn't so comfotable along with the pillows.
A few fixings in the property need re-attaching or just tightening.
Instructions on using everything would be great for the kitchen appliances.
Instruction on using the lock key would be handy.
A list of things to do nearby would be great too. Maybe some walks and places to eat.
