Upon arrival we managed to set off the alarm for the property. We had received messages instructing how to access the property and we also had email confirmation that we could enter earlier than planned. The message we received back was very rude and accused us of breaking the rules. I send a copy of the email to confirm it had been agreed and told that was a mistake. Then we were reminded to not break any more rules and to leave by 11am on departure day. We had just literally arrived!
There are instructions for a sandwich toaster machine which is not even in the kitchen. It states dishwasher included but there is not one there. There should be instructions on how to use some items especially the tv as this caused us a lot of confusion. I did not want to email them again and be told off. We loved the view from the property and due to our health reasons the walk up and down cardiac hill (we named it) was a lot for us. We carried water up the hill for 5 days before someone told us you can buy it at the reception area and hidden away near the pool access there was a machine where you can fill up the water. The air conditioning is great in one bedroom and lounge however the second bedroom is a ceiling fan which is not enough at all! I did message and ask where I could buy a fan and they could have advised me then to use ceiling fan but didn’t reply until a day later. I had to go out and buy a plug in fan just to make my room more bearable.
Other people’s food/drinks left in the fridge/freezer. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable I ended up folding over a duvet and then sheet on top of that just to make it bearable to sleep. My friend said the same about double bed room bed too. If you do use the air conditioning you need to empty the bucket on the balcony every day! Not ideal.
The owner had given authority according to the people who maintain the site to access the roof for works from our balcony.
