About this house rental
Welcome to “The Blue House” located in Washago. This is your woodland escape for all seasons. Relax and unwind in the hot tub, take a seat in the sauna, and chill out in the sunroom equipped with a wood pellet fireplace. Surrounded by forest and rock, every window offers a beautiful view! We invite you to our little slice of heaven. You will be walking distance to the boat launch on the green river where you can float, as well as the public park, boat launch and beach on Lake Couchiching.
The Blue House has nearby swimming, hiking trails, boating opportunities and atv trails. Lake Couchiching and the Green river are both accessible in Washago. Washago also offers a fishing tour establishment and kayak rentals. In the winter, there are nearby ice fishing hut rentals and guides, many trails for snowshoeing, and the Fire & Ice festival is close by in Bracebridge. The Blue House is also equipped with a private hot tub, sauna, and heated sunroom. The Blue house is also a 50 minute drive to Arrowhead Provincial Park where you’ll find the famous skating trail.
You will be a 5 minute walk to the Green River boat launch, a 10 minute walk to the grocery store, upscale restaurant and art gallery. You will be a 15 minute walk to the park and pubic beach/boat launch on Lake Couchiching.
You will be a 2 minute drive to the lcbo, 10 minute drive from Webers, 10 minutes to Casino Rama, 20 minutes to Orillia and Gravenhurst, 35 minute drive to Santa’s Village and 50 minute drive from Huntsville.
