It’s a lovely modern property , the location is good , the rooftop pool offers gorgeous views to Valletta. The staff are friendly and helpful the majority of the time. The beds were comfortable, and there was no noise from outside or other rooms.
There are clearly some teething issues as the hotel is new, but unfortunately our overall experience was quite disappointing.
When booking, I think guests should be made aware that almost everything is operated through an app — room access, lights, air conditioning, etc. This was manageable for me at 27, but I was travelling with my mum and it didn’t work particularly well for her. We were given a physical key card as well, which was helpful.
During our stay, the hotel experienced multiple power outages. Because so much of the room is connected to the app/system, each time the power went out, the lights came on at full brightness and the hotel room door unlocked. This was extremely disruptive and also concerning from a security perspective. It happened throughout the night, and unfortunately the person on reception was unable to do anything about it. As a result, we had an entire night with essentially no sleep.
Given this, I was disappointed that there was no real acknowledgement or goodwill gesture from the hotel. Even something as simple as a drink on the house would have gone a long way. We paid €112 per night, and losing an entire night’s sleep because of an issue with the hotel’s systems had a significant impact on our stay. I mentioned this at check-out, but unfortunately no gesture or compensation was offered.
My app also stopped working during the stay, so I had to contact reception whenever we needed to turn the air conditioning on or off, until a physical remote was eventually provided.
Housekeeping was another issue. Our bedsheets were not changed at any point during the week — the bed was simply made. The floors were not mopped, and towels were not replaced; they were picked up from the floor and refolded. We had assumed leaving them in a pile on the floor would indicate that we wanted fresh towels. Used glasses were also not cleaned or replenished.

Hotel novinho, quarto bonito, com varanda. Cama ótima, funcionalidades interessantes de controle de porta, de luz e ar condicionado pelo aplicativo. Restaurante com vista linda para uma das marinas de Malta.
Falta espaço na pia do banheiro para acomodar itens tais como: escova, sabonete líquido, creme dental, etc. Também o box do banheiro, com vidro que cobre apenas metade do espaço, deixa a água escorrer no banheiro. A vazão do ralo não dá conta da água e acaba molhando tudo. Esses foram os únicos pontos negativos do quarto.

Lovely, brand new hotel. The rooftop pool with its incredible view is exceptional
Some teething troubles as it’s only just opened. A few of the staff could be better informed, but in general, it was very good.
