Welcome to Meadows Lane, your home away from home in Santa Barbara—America’s Riviera.
Tucked inside one of the city’s few gated communities, and the only one within walking distance of the beach, the house borders a 12-acre nature preserve of open meadow and majestic live oaks. Beautiful Hendry’s Beach is less than a mile away.
This spacious, sun-filled home features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms on the lower level. The primary suite has three closets, a gas fireplace, Smart TV, and workspace. Two additional bedrooms with generous closets share a full bath.
Upstairs, you'll find an inviting living room with a fireplace and Smart TV, dining room, separate family/sitting area, and a well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, professional Viking gas range, and spacious refrigerator.
Balconies overlook the nature preserve, and a large Weber Summit propane barbecue is ready for outdoor cooking. A powder room is on the first floor.
The expansive deck is one of the home's highlights, with two loungers, two sitting areas, and nearby is a classic picnic table shaded by ancient oaks—a wonderful spot for morning coffee, outdoor meals, or an evening glass of wine.
The garage accommodates two smaller cars or one larger vehicle and includes a washer and dryer.
Meadows Lane is close to beaches, walking and biking trails, public golf courses, restaurants, shopping, and downtown Santa Barbara, yet offers the peace and privacy of a secluded natural setting. With exceptions, we prefer stays that start and end on the first of each month.
