About this house rental
World Traveler's Retreat is the perfect getaway to enjoy all the beauty of Northern Arizona. Located in the quiet Elk Run neighborhood of Flagstaff yet still just minutes from downtown. This beautiful home has new furnishings and decorations and you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Our home is managed with excellence by Tim Allen and his team.
This Mountain Retreat is a 3 bd / 2 ba home in the quiet neighborhood of Elk Run.
The entire 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, and spacious yard are yours to enjoy.
There is a greenhouse in the backyard. Every 4 days in the morning someone will come by to take care of the plants inside the greenhouse. They will enter through the side gate and will not need access to the home.
Flagstaff is the perfect base camp to enjoy all of the outdoor beauty of Northern Arizona. The home is just 3 miles from downtown, 5 miles from NAU, 35 minutes from both Sedona and Arizona Snowbowl and less than 90 minutes from the Grand Canyon. Create your perfect Arizona adventure!
If bringing a dog, please indicate it when making your reservation and the pet fee will be included in the booking. Please let us know if you will be bringing more than 1 dog. Additional fees will apply.
Pet fees for bookings over 30 days are not automatically added. A reduced fee will be added after the booking is confirmed.
Other things to note: This home is fully furnished and stocked with essentials to get you started on your trip! Please plan accordingly to purchase enough paper products to last for the duration of your stay.
Absolutely no smoking on premises. If cigarettes are found on the property or cleaners detect smoke in the home there will be an automatic $350 charge.
Bi-Weekly groundskeeping is performed at this home the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.

The house was perfect for all my needs, it was very clean, well equipped with everything one would need. I had to stay in Flagstaff for a couple of days after a foot surgery and the property allows dogs, which was fantastic and most importantly was the doggie door that led to the backyard which helped me so much in not having to open the door for him. Also, the backyard was really pleasant, big trees, lots of room for my dog to run around in and complete privacy… I enjoyed staying there very much and will definitely book again next time I visit Flagstaff. Overall, our family enjoyed the house. It was a nice neighborhood and the house was smaller but had a good layout for family of 5.
The kitchen came start, but could've used more pots and pans. The house was mostly clean, although there were quite a few dog hairs on the living room sofa.
The listing probably indicated this, but we did not realize this until we arrived, but there is only one television in the entire house – it is in the living room. So in order to share the TV with the kids we went out to Walmart and bought an inexpensive monitor, but be aware that there is only one television. You may want to bring your own monitor.
The only real complaint I had was with the property manager upon checking in. I did not show any record of receiving the email with the house instructions prior to our departure and when I called to request the address and property access information, the agent I spoke with was not very cooperative. She indicated she was not in front of a computer and when I asked for the phone number of someone who had access to the computer, she told me I would be receiving information about an hour before check-in, but we had to leave Phoenix 2 1/2 hours before check-in so we were departing Phoenix without the address or property access information. Fortunately, we did receive a text message about an hour before scheduled check-in and it did have the property address and lockbox information. But it was very frustrating to be communicating with someone who did not show empathy for our situation.
Overall we did like the house and would likely stay there again

The property was set up great. My wife and I kept commenting on how the set up was definitely something we could live in. It's about 3 miles from down town, so pretty close to all the great bars and restaurants. We have dogs and the set up outside was perfect for them. We highly recommend a stay here and can't wait for our next stay there!
