Three bathrooms in total. Two family bathrooms, one with a whirlpool bath and an overhead rainfall shower, plus a private en-suite shower room off one of the doubles. All are fully tiled with heated towel rails, and hand wash and towels are provided.



Kitchen



A well equipped galley kitchen with granite worktops, a full size cooker with oven and hob, extractor hood, tall fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Coffee machine, kettle and toaster provided, along with everything you need to cook properly for a group. A door leads directly out to the patio and garden.



Lounge



A separate lounge reserved for guests features two large sofas, a coffee table, a feature fireplace and a large flat-screen TV. It is a comfortable place to unwind and spend time together after a day in London.



Work space



One of the bedrooms doubles as a study with a proper desk and chair, ideal for guests working remotely or teams needing somewhere quiet to catch up on admin.

The Neighborhood:

Lower Morden is a quiet, leafy residential suburb, which makes it a comfortable base after a day in the city.



Everyday essentials. A Sainsbury's Local is about 10 minutes on foot on Central Road, with a larger Sainsbury's Superstore near Morden station and a Tesco Extra in New Malden for a full weekly shop.



Eating and drinking. Morden Brook, a large local pub with a full food menu and a garden, is only a few minutes away. The Beverley Country Carvery on Lower Morden Lane is a favourite for Sunday lunch. Morden town centre adds Italian, Indian and traditional fish and chips, and New Malden, a short trip away, is home to the best Korean food in London.



Green space and days out. Morden Hall Park, a free 125 acre National Trust estate along the River Wandle, is one of the best kept secrets in south London and has a café, garden centre and secondhand bookshop. Cannon Hill Common and Nonsuch Park are also close by.



Further afield. Wimbledon Village and the All England Lawn Tennis Club are a few stops up the Northern line, with the museum and tour worth a half day. Merton Abbey Mills near Colliers Wood runs a riverside craft and food market at weekends.



Getting Around:

By Underground



Morden station is the southern terminus of the Northern line and sits in Zone 4, roughly a 20 minute walk or a short bus ride away. From there it is a direct run into Clapham, Waterloo, Bank, London Bridge and the West End, with no changes needed. Being at the end of the line means you almost always get a seat.



By train



St Helier station is the closest at around 12 minutes on foot, with Morden South a similar distance. Both sit on the Thameslink Sutton loop, which connects to Wimbledon, Sutton and central London stations including Blackfriars and St Pancras.



By bus



Local bus routes run along Central Road and Lower Morden Lane, linking the house to Morden town centre, Worcester Park and New Malden. Useful for the last stretch to the Tube if you would rather not walk it.



By car



Free on street parking directly outside the property. The A3 and A24 are both within a short drive, giving easy access to the M25, Gatwick and the south coast. Central London is around 40 minutes outside peak hours.



Airports



Gatwick is roughly an hour by train via Sutton. Heathrow is around an hour by road or via public transport through Wimbledon.
