Nice reception-guy. We arrived too early, but could store our luggage, so we could go into town. The metro station is closeby, brings you to Plaza Francisco quickly and for few bucks. There are plenty restaurants around the corner. Though they say Quito isn't a 100% safe, the neighborhood felt safe to us. Oh, we could park our car on top of the street, at a private parking spot, for only 5 dollar.
This was the smallest room we had, you have to dance around eachother to move. The street it's on is very noisy. Theres no airco, but it gets warm at night. Sleeping with the window open means lots of noise. Wifi is terrible. The bathroom door squeeks with a loud noise. That's annoying, when you have to pee in the night and your partner is sleeping. It is easily fixed, though, just a bit WD40. Shower is mostly fine, but you do get realy hot and realy cold water every now and then. Keeps you alert, I guess. The toilet makes a weird sound, when it's refilling. It clearly needs maintenance.
