Towels were good. Comfortable room. Big lifts for large luggage and guests.
Bathroom needs updating. Shower faucet was loose and difficult to use to get to correcttemperature, shower curtain was too long and you stood on it. No rubber mat for safety.

Big rooms and very efficient housekeeping staff.
Had an issue at check in regarding the security charges for extras. I paid my room tariff totally in cash including extras but while checking out i was not refunded the cash for extras because they said that they don’t collect security for extras through cash but only through card and i know my card didn’t work and in their system also they failed to prove that they charged my card but still i was not refunded. Later on their manager came and promised that he would look into the matter and ensure that my money is refunded back but now it’s been almost a month and I haven’t received any refund yet .

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Oakville.
The beds were among the most uncomfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. A comfortable bed is a basic expectation when paying for a hotel room, particularly at a Hilton property.
When we arrived, the room temperature was set to 13°C (55°F). With the outdoor temperature around 25°C, this seemed excessive and unnecessarily wasteful. More importantly, the room was uncomfortably cold when we entered.
The bar fridge was also not functioning properly—it was freezing everything inside rather than maintaining a normal refrigerator temperature. We brought this to the attention of the front desk staff during our stay, but nothing was done to address the issue. Unfortunately, medication that we had stored in the refrigerator was frozen and ruined as a result. This is particularly concerning, as we specifically made the hotel aware that the refrigerator was not functioning properly.
When I book a Hilton hotel and pay for a two-night stay, I expect the basic amenities in the room to be clean, comfortable, and fully functional. These are not unreasonable expectations, nor should they be considered a high standard for a hotel to meet.
Overall, this stay fell well below the standard I expect from Hilton, and I hope the hotel takes these concerns seriously and addresses them so future guests do not have the same experience.
