Okay for a road trip stop

Exceptional

I liked that I was able to help my daughter with grandbabies without having to rent two separate rooms. The beds were comfortable. Place was clean and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Did have a pool, laundry room and gym. Great variety for breakfast. Did not get to use the pool, but did use the gym. Was provided a pac n play for youngest grandson. He had fallen off the bed, so this was greatly appreciated.

Room location. Far from elevator and stairs were hard with toddlers and luggage. Lock did not lock on a bedroom door. One toilet made a loud squealing sound all night.

Embarrassed thatmy family had to deal with the road noise since I picked the hotel

Didn’t eat breakfast. Location was fine

Our room was near the 5 freeway and the road noise was horrible. So loud we couldn’t sleep well either night. If you are going to have room that close to a major busy freeway you should have better soundproof

Life's A Beach: At Best Western/Carlsbad, Always a Sunny Day (regardless of the weather)

The staff, both housecleaning and maintenance were very helpful and considerate. Katy, one of the workers at the front desk during evenings was very helpful, as was the gentleman working the desk the next morning. Their consideration in dealing with me, a disabled person with a few health issues, made my stay that much more pleasant.

The price. Although this is not a reflection on the staff working at the motel. This is more of a corporate issue, as well as a "state of California" issue, where most everything is pretty expensive, when compared to most places.

for the price it’s ok . If you love the beach is walking distance .

jacuzzi breakfast included!!! bed was comfortable.

the shower did not work and the room we stayed was loud because the freeway is very close .

Disappointing

Maid service Was excellent.

Room had a funny smell to it. TV is to small. Guide, TV and remote don't work right together. Escutcheon on shower wall slides off down to the show head so you see the hole in the tile. Looks like they tried to fix it but they made it look worse. Walkways paint was coming up. Laundry room door didn't stay closed. Someone put a piece of cardboard in the latch side to keep it closed. Menu didn't match what was put out for breakfast.

I would definitely stay there again just need cleaning service if we ask for it.

The breakfast was good and the location was awesome 2 blocks from the beach

We requested the room to be cleaned and no one cleaned it.

Their sofa is not a hide a bed, thus we had to get a roll away. Hard to fit in the suite room.

Big rooms, good a/c, bed was comfortable, clean, good breakfast. Has a microwave, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher.

Lack of housekeeping asked for service and never received it. Stayed for 4 days so it needed to be cleaned at least once. Got more towels but ran out of bar soap and shampoo.
