Everything we wanted to do was within like 10 km of the hotel including multiple thrift stores, science north, the mall and many good restaurants. The restaurant attached to the hotel had pretty good breakfast and you get a 10% discount if you are staying at the hotel. Room was comfy and clean. Staff was very kind. Shout out to the man who work 11pm to I believe 7am. He made great conversation, was very kind and patient.
The door to our hotel room was hard to open. You’d have to push quite a bit of body weight on it due to the way it was built I think. The door wasn’t heavy or anything. The door rattled and we had the impression it would be very easy to open without a key. Our showers drain would not drain fast enough our water would be up to our ankles during the whole shower basically. The shower floor was very slippery but may just be due to the water buildup. The bathroom floor in the pool was disgusting, and obviously it’s the one place you are less likely to have feet coverups. The bathroom next to the elevator was also kind of dirty but that wasn’t too big of a problem, just had a weird smell. The soap in there was the hotel shampoo which was a little odd to me but it does make more sense than tens of people using the same bar of soap, but still odd.
Parking at night was bad, we get a parking pass, we shouldn’t have to fight to get parking.

The bed was not the best springs were felt when sleeping. The A/C needs attention. No breakfast included

The location was perfect for my needs.
Paper products were very sub standard. As an elderly person I prefer better quality tissues and tp. That was my only concern. Maybe minor but none the less major for my comfort

Cleanliness could be improved, also could hear all the noise from the hallway waking us up at 3am
