The location was great. There was a bus stop right on the corner of Capilano and Marine Drive. We took the bus from that stop directly downtown. We also did a lot of walking and walked from the Shipyards in North Van back to the hotel. It did take almost a hour, but it was a great option for us. Park Royal is also nearby and there is lots of great shopping there. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We drink tea and so they provided a kettle for us to use in the room. We would recommend staying here.
The bed was a bit hard for our liking. Other than that, there was nothing we didn't like.

Very clean, close to everything we needed
Inadequate kitchenette - tea and coffee facilities were disposable cups, no spoons, pod style coffee. A kettle, a couple of glasses, mugs and spoons would have made all the difference.

Good parking, fridge in the room, key card was awkward, comfortable beds, centrally located to where we needed to be, very friendly staff
Noisy location (busy city intersection with lots of traffic and sirens), noisy plumbing in building, expensive for a motel (but that's to be expected in Vancouver in the late summer)
