About this bed and breakfast
This adult only 110-year-old Italian mansion in historic Victoria is adjacent to the Government House and Gardens. It features a daily homemade breakfast and luxury rooms with a 2-person jetted tub.

Breakfast was delightful. Starting with fruit or yogurt parfait, some type of bread such as croissants, muffins, or scones (fresh made) and a main which were all egg based such as eggs benedict. They are very willing to accomodate special diets. The entrance to the room we were in (#5) was outside which was fine in the summer but could be an issue if there's inclement weather. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a lovely view of the yard (and the visiting deer). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful, quiet setting. Lovely decor and delicious breakfast.
I found the mattress uncomfortable, but found the pull-out couch much more comfortable.

Great breakfast. Early exit in the AM accommodated for with early breakfast. Comfy bed
Needs outlets by the bed for charging. Maybe lamps with outlets?

Everything. The Rose suite was exceptionally large and comfortable with a huge bedroom, second bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. There was also a lovely wooden balcony with chairs and umbrella with views of the mountain and ocean in the distance. The breakfast was the standout. Fresh, high quality produce which was not only tasty, but also healthy, and beautifully presented with herbs and flowers from the garden. The staff were absolutely delightful. The beautiful surrounding gardens had a family of deers. Free private parking available. A 20. I Ute walk into downtown. Is the Government House gardens.
My only comment is that the bathroom perhaps needs a refurbishment.
