Great place for last minute stay

The check in staff was welcoming, kind, answered questions, and was very accommodating. It was a late night check in after a long day. She not only welcomed me but acknowledge and spoke to my teenage son who was with me. It appeared to be a newer hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were great. I felt safe while walking my dog around at a late night hour. The check in and check out process was easy and fast.

I've booked 3 times in the past month. I guess it's safe to say I LOVE IT!

Everybody and I do mean everybody greets with a smile.

Do Better Hampton

Very close to where I needed to be. Staff was friendly.

Needs an upgrade. The ceiling in the bathroom had been patched and painted. Not even close on the color. The caulking on the tub was black in areas and coming apart. Just not up to par.

I enjoyed my stay in Duluth at the Hampton more than this one but I still give it 9 out of 10

Large rooms and bathroom, clean, and the staff was great

The free breakfast needs a little help, but I was thankful, room service needs offered without asking for it especially when I paid more here and at other Hamptons I paid less and didn’t have to ask for it I don’t like complaining

Smelled like someone was smoking in one of the rooms from the hall on our floor. Another guest said they smelled the same thing on a different floors.

The breakfast choices & the option to have turkey sausage for those that do not eat pork. Close to everything

The elevation in price. Prior to the night before.The female overnight staff charge my card after she run the system for new rates. She said as long as there's money on the card it will go through. But advise me to return to make the purchase. By the time I got ready to return. She had already charged my card. More than I would have excepted. Then there was an additional $25 charge for each night that was not returned.

Unreliable reservation

Room and staff were great.

The room and the staff were great. However I booked this room on the 11th of July. On the 19th just 4 hours prior to check in I received a phone call from Hampton Inn asking me how I was able to book the room, because the hotel was full and no rooms were available. Mind you I had been driving for 4 hours and had 4 more hours of driving to do before I arrived. I made it clear that my reservation was valid and that a room better be available. I was told they didn't know what to do because they had no rooms. I continued to drive regardless. I had to drive for 4 hours worrying about whether or not a room would be available when I got there. I never received a phone call telling me that the issue had been resolved. This was and is unacceptable. So from now on I have to worry that if I booked a room with a Hilton affiliated hotel whether or not the room will actually be available because they clearly don't know how to manage their bookings!

Bed bug nightmare

The front desk personnal were nice

The room I stayed in had bed bugs. Management staff didn't have any sense of urgency to rectify the situation once I reported it after check out.

mediocre rooms. terrible customer service. unwilling to address a safety concern. employee told me I’m a racist after h

daytime front desk employee was awesome, perfect customer service and was polite to my family. my card was charged three times for some reason and the manager was super polite about finding a solution as well.

night time employee on 6-25 gives this hotel a bad name and should not be employed here. he got an attitude with me when I told him both elevators are now not working and it is a safety hazard at this point. he told me I’m mad at him bc of his skin color and threatened to call the police on me. asked if we could be moved to a first floor room due to mobility issues and he laughed at me, said no and walked away from me. after that refused to look up from his phone to speak to me and then spoke to my minor child disrespectfully the morning after. he did not care about the safety of anyone and playing the race card is certainly not the proper way to resolve an issue.
