The rooms and location were ideal. We loved the chairs and hot water kettle - such nice touches.
The bathroom is quite small but worked for us.

The room was comfortable and very clean. I don't think I was expecting a king-sized bed so that was a great surprise. The room was relatively quiet, even being at the front of the building and getting up the stairs with our suitcases was easy. The caretaker was excellent, even offering us his Roku when we discovered that it was missing. I would be happy to stay at this location again and in fact, I wish they had room for us again when we head back to St John's after our road trip up the coast.
The air conditioning unit doesn't quite fit into the window so it does let a draught in when you're not using it and the curtain covers the unit when it's on so you have to have the curtain pulled aside to get the full effect of the air conditioning. This is Not the only hotel I've experienced where this is an issue so it's not a complaint per se, just an observation. Same with the soap made available for the bathroom. The bar of soap was actually perfect for a two or three day visit because it's more like a slice of soap, so nothing gets wasted. It does, however, break when you use it so you end up having slivers of soap everywhere.

great location. Comfy bed. everything you need, tightly packed in
room smelled clean, counters were clean.
affordable I guess..... in comparison to nice hotels.
The creamers in the fridge had gone bad, and the instant coffee was trash.
Glasses were very dirty.
Ac Unit didnt work very well.
