Exceptional

The host was gracious. The Auberge offers quiet comfort. Breakfast (for an additional price) was excellent and well worth it. Our host also packed a lunch for us to take along on the next leg of our journey.

Our stay was very relaxing.

The Auberge is very well located, and our room has an amazing view on the St-Lawrence River and l’Isle-aux-Coudres. The room and the bathroom were clean and all amenities were provided. Julien et Emilie are very welcoming and kind. We are looking forward to returning.

This place has such potential with amazing views.

The view. Just "WOW".

The bed was not very comfortable. The lin an upgrade. The bathroom and bedroom need to be upgraded. They need to provide instructions for the tub/shower combo. The door lock is inadequate.

Great hosts with a great property in a great location

Great view and location - you will need to drive to the restaurants in the town - but a great little town worth the visit. Hosts are fantastic and there is also a guest kitchen should you wish to eat in.

Quality hospitality

On a good day the view from the balcony, where breakfast is served, is stunning. The breakfast itself was excellent. Portions were just the right size. Julien and Emilie are tremendous hosts, flexible and very helpful. The auberge only has twelve guest rooms, so book well in advance. Everything is extremely clean and nicely presented.

The ground floor rooms don't quite enjoy the same view as floors 2 and 3, so you may want to take that into consideration when booking. Our bathroom door was a little hard to open as it tended to stick at the top corner (I will pass this on to Julien as I suspect we are not the first to experience this)

The receptionist is really warm and caring. The view to the river is fantastic. Nice breakfast.

Spectacular view in a well appointed inn with plenty of hospitality.

The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking - we had to pull ourselves away to leave in the morning. I even woke to take in the night view, it was so amazing. The room was comfortable and clean and it had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was lovely with homemade breads and yogurt. They even provided extra for my partner who has a bigger appetite.

The only thing I can think of is that the water pressure would fluctuate in the morning. This is probably due to many people taking showers at the same time, but I have to admit it was annoying.
