Very comfortable beds
The electric plus for the wall mounted lamps was loose and seemed slightly dangerous.

The owner of the property was there and she was very accommodating, allowed me for an early check in. The property was very convenient, at a junction of the Route Verte.
The appliances were all run on one power strip with warnings about running multiple appliances at once. The air conditioner worked well, but there was no way to prevent the curtains from covering it while it was running.

Our room was very quiet and clean. The receptionist was extremely courteous and helpful. The location was only 5 minutes, by car, from Sherbrooke city center.
Their attached restaurant was closed completely.

Hotel La Paysanne offers reasonable access from the highway. There were several options for meals nearby. Beds were clean and comfortable.
On arrival, the key we were given for our room would not work. When I returned to the office for another key, I was informed the handle and keys are old and need to be jiggled. After several frustrating moments of working on the lock, the door finally opened. We'd travelled several hours and didn't relish dealing with an old, stuck door lock. The bathroom had ceramic tiling obviously placed over an original wall in the (tiny) shower stall. The floor was uneven and slippery in the shower stall and hot/cold taps were loose and impossible to regulate.
