Never Again

The staff was friendly

The hotel lobby smelled nice but that’s where anything good about this place ends. When we opens the door that lead to the hotel rooms, we were hit with an overpowering smell of cigarettes (although there are signs that prohibit smoking) The elevator was out of order, so we had to walk up to our room (thankfully it was only the second floor). When my wife and I checked in with my 1 year old daughter, I was socked to see the condition of the room. This was the absolute worst hotel room I’ve ever seen. The room was dimly lit and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The sink was full of cigarette ashes and the tub was filthy. The blanket on the bed had cigarette burns and the stove in the kitchen looked like it had never been cleaned. The staff on duty were friendly and was apologetic but there was no way I was staying there with my family. We checked right out and was blessed to find a much better place to stay.

Worst place I’ve payed to stay in a while

Newly remodeled

We drove back up from Florida and stopped to stay well the sheets had stains on them and after calling the front desk they refused to do anything about it. Didn’t even want to compensate for the inconvenience. Wouldn’t even give up a different room. Will not recommend this place. We ended up just leaving

Disappointing

Breakfast was great, staff was awesome. Employees were all great and accommodating 10/10, facilities could use some upgrades.

Door to our room only worked 10% of the time, not a key issue just a mechanical problem. Pool was a big draw but closed for most of our stay.

Updates needed, but worth it’s value.

Great centered location

Upon arriving to the room, we could easily spot that the room had not been cleaned well. Hair in and around the showers, stains, etc.

Rodent infestation? Cramped room, looked and felt dirty.

I only had 2 cups of coffee with a little pods of creamer as opposed to actual carafes of cold creamer. Cheap.

I found what appeared to be two pieces of mouse or rat poop-one near the toilet, and one on the carpet in the entry inside the room! The hotel I was quoted 175 initially but it turned out to be 215 when I checked out and they charge me $75 for my service dog which was not supposed to happen.

Overall great

warm and inviting.

a couple decided to have their dog, who wasn’t listed as service animal join everyone for breakfast. I have a dog also and respect that everyone may not want to have my dog join us for breakfast. I’m sure if they were made aware of that, it would have created all sort of problems for the hotel.

Nothing overall. Just a note that the hotel/furniture/rug are showing their age. (ex: wall light, the wall mount was loose. Ceiling fan/light could not be operated independently.)

Wonderful stay! Wonderful staff!

Breakfast was awesome! Amy was very attentive and met all our requests. Both attendants that worked at check-in and check out were also very professional and friendly. Our room was clean and the bed slept well. The facility overall was very clean.

location wasn’t too far from CofC and more affordable than staying downtown

couches can be updated and cleaned. we put a blanket over the couch to sit

the fan/heater in the room was extremely loud. in addition to the loud fan/heater the air unit cover was loose and it also made a lot of noise. very unpleasant when trying to sleep

First place I've ever stayed with wonderful pillows that aren't too fat. They were down pillows I think and did not break your neck! Loved them!

My issue was not with breakfast it was with my room. I had bugs everywhere.

Breakfast was ok. I like the different options to choose from.

Breakfast was ok and I appreciate it being ready to eat when I go down.
