The property is a typical St. John’s building, old, with a lot of character, colourful, nicely decorated and furnished.
If you have mobility issues and you are booking a room you need to know that the majority of the rooms are in second and third level by stairs. I had big 2 luggage to carry. Anyway it was worth to do it.

We actually stayed at the Jelly Bean Heritage Hotel which is their sister property nearby. Beautiful historic home in the heart of town. Easy walking access to everything. Delicious home made deluxe continental breakfast including home baked muffins, breads, homemade jam, etc. very friendly staff. Easy check in. Very quiet.
Poor water pressure. One of the lamps didn’t work.

Breakfast was great but it was the cook who stole the show. He was a National Treasure,
Lighter quilt on the bed was needed in summer, a nail sticking out of the floor, outside deck was dirty.
