Dated facity, overpriced.

Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Room was below street level. Many electric outlets didn’t function. Facility looked and felt neglected by management. e.g. for three days they couldn’t provide a bottle of body lotion.

To be treated in such a way by Kim had a real negative impact on our visit

We came back to stay after a few days away at Port Rexton, sadly this time we had extremely poor service. Firstly we asked the hotel to dry clean my husbands jacket for the wedding we were attending - we dropped it off, and came back 24hrs later to collect it as requested - first of all they couldnt find it, and when several hours later they did find it, it hadnt even been sent off - so had to attend the wedding in an unclean jacket. Secondly we had an issue with the bill and went to reception to ask for assistance, Kim Purdy, was on the desk and i have to say i have never been talked to in such a condescending manner - she couldnt have been any more unhelpful if she tried - such a shame to end our visit on such a negative experience.

no parking available when I returned late in evening. was suggested by staff to park in back of hotel late at night. I did not appreciate that. eventually a solution was created as I was going to switch to another property lights by bedside were not working

the restaurant view was beautiful , front staff were very welcoming.

the room was small with a small window overlooking the harbour, compared to your friendly competition . for the price

Comfortable stay in a pleasent location.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff serving. The hotel was reasonably central to the main street with bars and restaurants and shopping.

Air conditioning a bit noisy but worked fine.

not enough coffee pods in the rooms , no coffee in the lobby for guest.

Reccomend to stay here and walking distance to most things.

Everything! Location is short walk to signal hill. The eating area has a beautiful view of the harbour and ocean. Hotel rooms were clean and had very comfy beds.

1 minor issue. Out of the 5 days we stayed we removed the “do not disturb” sign but no one came to clean our room. But front desk was nice to give us extra towels.

breakfast took a really long time, we kept having to call the staff over - to take an order, for drinks, for jam, for butter. They seemed stressed and too busy. Far to brisk in the service. also I was expecting breakfast to be included - even something simple. I’m pretty sure it was on the website when I booked. would have preferred the harbour view - free room upgrades with Booking.com don’t seem to actually happen.

on arrival we were quite late no restaurants were open except a pizza place a ways away but no delivery at that time the desk clerk offered and went to pick up our order it was great ps we did not have a car at that time

The lights/toilet didn't work in first room. Assigned new room that was in a worse location - by elevator rather than a better quality room
