Loved our stay at the Roses Heritage Inn. The location was perfect; close to Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi and downtown. Parking across the street worked really well. Breakfast was amazing!
The bed was really high. I needed to use the ottoman to get on the bed.

Self checkin worked well. The first time was a little bumpy (parking, figuring out the number pads). Parking could have been a problem but was easy for us. Rooms were unique and comfortable. Breakfast was handled well considering it was a last minute affair. The staff was excellent and very helpful.
We had multiple rooms on a single reservation, and the codes for all rooms was the same. This wasn't a problem for us, but we were travelling with two women, and technically, any of us could have entered their room.

I notified the chef and he said he didn’t do gluten free. Specifically in our email it said gluten free was an option. We had to walk to a sister hotel in the rain for a delicious breakfast made by Norm a very pleasant and accommodating chef
I don’t recall being told our room was on the 3rd floor. We had to borrow a chair from the hall on another floor and a small table from the hall beside the bed. They only offered paper cups for water, wine etc. The shower head leaked and I had to let staff know to fix it. Overall, it could have been better
