The house is beautifully furnished with period details and is very comfortable. a delight to walk into. Thanks to the housekeeper who helped carry our bags up to the top floor. Very kind of her. This is possibly the nicest little place I've ever stayed in.
The radiators in our room did not work. Luckily it was not cold but it was clear the rest of the house was warmer. I think the rads need bleeding. Would have been nice to have been able to have breakfast but this had just stopped for the season, thanks for the muffins, a nice touch.

Loved our stay at the Roses Heritage Inn. The location was perfect; close to Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi and downtown. Parking across the street worked really well. Breakfast was amazing!
The bed was really high. I needed to use the ottoman to get on the bed.

I notified the chef and he said he didn’t do gluten free. Specifically in our email it said gluten free was an option. We had to walk to a sister hotel in the rain for a delicious breakfast made by Norm a very pleasant and accommodating chef
I don’t recall being told our room was on the 3rd floor. We had to borrow a chair from the hall on another floor and a small table from the hall beside the bed. They only offered paper cups for water, wine etc. The shower head leaked and I had to let staff know to fix it. Overall, it could have been better
