Easy checkin, friendly staff, spacious room

For years i have been coming to the Old House and always look forward to the amazing cookies in the lobby! This time, the cookies were awful. Straight off the shelf at a grocery store i suspect. I couldn’t even enjoy them enough to eat more than a couple bites. Very disappointing. Also, the normal toilet paper has apparently been replaced with napkin dispensers, which is just cheap feeling and weird. The old cookies and normal toilet paper were two little things that contributed to making the whole experience feel luxury! I did not feel I had a luxurious stay this time. Just an average, standard hotel stay. Which i may as well go elsewhere and pay less for. (I suspect people who book this hotel would gladly pay an extra $5 for real toilet paper and good cookies!!) Also, my room was poolside and there was a lot of noisy kids at the pool, which isn't a bad thing, but as a mom of two toddlers I was very much looking forward to some time away from the constant noise of children.

Clean, quiet, big room nice patio and view and the hot tub and pool were so relaxing..

Cleanliness, comfortable beds Location is very good. Locals restaurant is very good. Room very good Parking is very good

Room was right next to swimming pool and hot pool, noisy playing children till 9 pm and talking adults till 10 pm. Very loud gurgling kitchen sink caused by water use from above room. Constant 24 hr. road noise from nearby very noisy Island hwy bridge deck . No breakfast just a drinks machine, cookies, and apples

The location is central. Nice walking path close by.

The mattresses are old and need to be replaced. There is. I service or change of towels unless you request. Had to ask the front desk for more toilet paper.
