Absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful clean room, beautiful river view, spectacular sunsets! Close to town. We don't speak French but everyone was very understanding of us and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this motel!!

Motel Panoramique was booked with a 3 night stay. We couldn't be more happier with our stay.

The motel/hotel accommodation and room, service, and location was excellent.

Motel Panoramique - c’est Magnifique!

Isabel keeps those rooms spotless! I bent down under the desk to plug something in and it was clean as a proverbial whistle under there too! in the States I usually find dried up insects! bathroom was modern and bed comfy. beautiful view from the balcony in the morning. I liked that my key was in a lock box so that I could “check in” as late as I wanted to!

balcony is not private, so in the morning you can hear folks walking by.

Exceptional

The reception was really friendly , helpful and nice. The room was clean,well organized and have everything you needed. The late hours for the pool use were perfect to relax. The location is amazing whit the view to the river

Beautiful view, very clean.

Nice and clean rooms, great view, well maintained, very nice staff, beautiful area landscape, nice swimming pool, it is heated. I strongly recommend it.

Balcony is shared for all rooms.

Very friendly staff and what a beautiful location ! Although we didn't have the chance to go for a swim, the pool was opened and heated :)

Superb

We liked the location by the river. The beds were very comfortable and sheets looked very clean. The pool looked lovely but didn't get to use it. Good value for money for all the amenities provided.

There seemed to be parking only enough for ground level room at our building. However, there was parking available little away near other building which housed reception. The ladies would have preferred a bigger bathroom but it looked clean.

The location is great, right by the river and close to the town centre where the restaurants and shops are. We got a riverview room and it is amazing. The motel facilities are amazing. There is laundry on site. There are multiple bbq stoves and picnic tables along the riverside where we can have our dinner. Wifi is good too.

It would be great if there can be ventilation fan in the washroom. The room got so foggy and wet after shower.

Beautiful location along the Saguenay River

The room was huge, although the bathroom was tiny. I was in the older building farther from the river but it still had a reasonable view. There were large windows looking out over the pool and river beyond. The fridge was handy. Location was lovely along the river and easy access to it.

There was no microwave which I think many travelers now expect. The shower stall was really tiny (nothing to be done about that) but I managed. I truly had no complaints about the property. It was absolutely as advertised.

Great location,staff could be better

Location was amazing, had bbqs people could use along the fjord, room was basic but comfortable.

The safety lock on the room didn’t work/ had to be played with to get it to lock. Receptionist literally shrugged her shoulders and said we are full, ok? And left. Morning receptionist was better and when I told her problem said at least said she’d note it.

Very enjoyable

I was very impressed with the vigilance of the night clerk. He sent me a txt the night I arrived at about an hour after I settled in to notify me that I had left my lights turned on on my truck.

reasonable motel in best location

The location is great, with a terrific view on the river right outside Chicoutimi, it’s well connected to the local bus that can bring you to Jonquiere. Beds are comfortable, AC works, laundry and wifi are free. Wifi is secure too! Beds are huge and comfortable.

Two of the four lamps were broken. There were very old spider webs at the ceiling. The balcony is a shared walkway so you can’t smoke there. None of those are dealbreakers though because it’s literally a roadside motel.

Amazing views! Lovely picnic tables along the river bank. Well located within a few minutes drive to the city. Rooms are basic, but have everything that is needed.

The view was beautiful especially the sunsets on the water. Very relaxing . The pool was a plus. Clean and facing the mountain and water.The surroundings are breathtaking !Great place to relax and unwind. Close to everything. Your in nature the air is fresh what else would anyone want. The staff were great,

Please remove the carpets their old and dirty and smelly.Put vinyl flooring instead. Also ban inside the room smoking. Everything smelled of cigarettes, the curtains, the carpet etc… Or have selective rooms for smokers but inform customers if they want a smoking room when booking the room.

Overall, my wife and I were quite happy about our stay at le Panoramique.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the facility itself is a nice little oasis off of what was a fairly busy street the weekend we were there - which was the labour day weekend. The grounds are quite nice though, and our unit was facing the street, whereas the river view rooms would be a lot quieter - not that noise was a major issue or anything. It's a cute little motel, and for the most part we have no complaints.

We felt that the room we had was a little pricey, all things considered. But, and this is a big "but", everything over this busy holiday weekend during the pandemic was super expensive. Like, motels you'd normally pay $60 or $70 a night for were asking - and getting - more like $150 a night or more. So, in context, the $130 a night we paid was a relative bargain. I'm assuming that once the pandemic dies down a little more and fewer people are travelling exclusively in Quebec that hotel prices in general will come down again. $130 a night would be WAY more than this hotel could charge during normal times. Finally, the bed seemed a little small and had clearly seen a lot of use over the years. That said, my wife and I both slept just fine on it.
