The kitchen facilities were very helpful to prepare food for breakfast and other meals. When we asked for oven mitts, a repair/replacement for the keurig machine, and another garbage bin, the staff kindly met our needs.
It was fortunate that we were able to have breakfast and dinner outside because there was a picnic table on the veranda just outside our door. However, there was an issue with wasps in the vicinity, so the staff should be more aware of this problem and set up deterrents (traps, etc.) to ensure that patrons don't have to deal with these pests.
In the washroom, there were 2 lights, one that provided task lighting in the shower/bath area, and the other one (the main light, which was the brightest, happened to be connected to the ventilation fan). So, if we needed to have just that particular light on, the bathroom fan was also turned on and it was extremely loud (disturbingly loud in fact). The sink drainage was too slow---this needs to be looked at and remedied (not a major problem but annoying).

Italian restaurant just down the road.
Unpleasant smell from kitchen area. Not very clean. Bed falling apart under box spring. Workers doing upgrades on other units, on lower floor of building below our unit lots of random junk.
