Beautiful setting, very peaceful and feels secluded. The beach and lake are gorgeous and loved the water sports and the fact they’re included in the price. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and nice.
Overall I would say the rooms and the property are a little run down. As soon as you walk in to the reception area all the leaflets with different excursions etc are a mess, not the best first impression. The staff didn’t mention that bottled water at the bar was free and didn’t share how to use the bikes until we asked. The breakfast really wasn’t great either - I’d definitely recommend skipping and going somewhere in Bala or Port Carling instead.

Breakfast was excellent. Property is great. Dinner was great. Walking trails were good.
The facility is not designed for seniors. Walking and carrying luggage up and down hills was difficult. No one offered help. Showers had no shelves for soaps etc. No hooks for towels. Noises from upstairs and dogs barking were annoying.
