Hampton Inn Tampa-Rocky Point

The staff was amazing. The desk staff and the women who took care of the breakfast. All super nice and helpful.

The lobby smelled a bit like smoke.

The rooms were very clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially the restaurant staff Rose.

Breakfast was excellent but the breakfast area and lobby looked old.

Looked at three rooms, and all three had poor air quality and smelled of older carpeting. When I asked hotel front desk person about this, I was told "smells like a hotel room." Being the hotel brokerage business, I was blown away with this comment. The hotel is due for a refresh and a deep cleaning of the carpets and room ACs. Breakfast was excellent but the breakfast area and lobby looked old. I booked a Hampton Inn thinking the product would have been excellent associated with the franchise. I am surprised Hilton allows this level of poor or old physical condition.
