I stayed at the hotel almost 2 decades ago when my children were young. I had fond memories of our time and knew it was the perfect place to stay when I did a girls trip with my mom and niece. The room was comfortable, great amenities, and well maintained. We asked for a rollaway bed and extra blankets and they were promptly brought up to our room. The rollaway was a twin sized bed, not a folding rollaway like we expected, and comfortable. We spent a bit of one morning in the lobby relaxing by the fire, having coffee, and planning our day at the Grand Canyon. I'm already planning another stay for my husband and I for our anniversary

The old vibe of the restaurant & lounge areas. And the jacuzzi.
Restaurant and bar closing early. Perhaps more of an American thing rather than hotel specific.

The looks of an old ranchhouse.
Overpriced, low service. The entire village is kind if a ripoff. As the restaurant was closed for lunch, they recommended us a place nearby, which was definitely in my top ten of worst restaurants ever eaten at.
