Getting to the valet line bad location in a high traffic area also room was perfect I was on the 7th floor but the hallways had strange odor

Good location. Loved the access to water, tea, coffee etc. friendly staff, very welcoming.
Decor in rooms and corridors is a little dated.

It is in the middle of downtown Houston, so pretty close to most transit requirements.
Easy check in/out process.
Lobby is quite nice with free coffee available to all guests.
The quality of the room was a bit disappointing. Although the bed was comfortable, the desk chair had rips all over it. The lounge chair same thing. The carpet also seemed dirty and not like it had been cleaned recently.
