I would recommend this place for people looking for simple, clean accomodation on a budget.

Very comfortable; able to come in a make ourselves a cup of tea when we arrived

It is a bit of a strange place. Luckily I had read other reviews and knew the owner might not be there when we arrived. It is out in the middle of no where and looks like it's under construction. The entrance wasn't obvious, and we felt a little uncertain of what we would find inside. Our room was basic but comfortable and very clean. We had everything we needed for a one night stay.

Very little, other than the rom was vey clean

Did not lie being greeted by a barefoot host in yjamas. Did not like having to pay cash.

Great country comfort

Very casual and comfortable place. Lyndon had everything you could want for breakfast including gluten free items.

Very good

If you are looking for a uniform chain hotel type of environment, skip this one. It's eclectic with some unique decor. But, it is clean and a good value, plus had the best breakfast options of any place I stayed.

Best BnB breakfast of my trip by far ! Cereal buffet, fruit, and then a classic Scottish breakfast

The best B&B breakfast that I had by far. Its a bit self serve, but that's a major plus. Take what you want ! There was no sense of rationing. Ten cereals to choose from. Lots of fresh fruit. Make your own toast, need an extra slice, that's on you. But on top that, the best cooked breakfast as well, in the Scottish style with blood pudding and sausage, great eggs. Lyn rocks!

Some of the repairs in the room had some cosmetic issues, for examine chips in the bathroom sink porcelain we're roughly repaired.

It was very relaxed, felt a bit like being at camp. Appreciated the freedom to use the kitchen and dining area.

It felt a bit isolated, but in the end, didn’t really matter.

it was very spartan, but clean, with a good breakfast provided.

The location was very isolated. The property feels a bit like a student hostel, or college field trip centre. That’s not necessarily bad, but it could do with a few touches to make it more comfortable and welcoming and feel less institutional

Need to know beforehand that there is no restaurant in the area, the closest place to get food is St. Anthony which is about 20 min away.

Very obligingly customer service

Lyndon, owner, was AMAZING! He was super welcoming, very hospitable and kindly checked on us many times. We were the only family there for a couple hours and had the run of the place for a long time. It gives you a very down home feeling. Breakfast was perfectly cooked by Lyndon. He even cooked an egg for our puppy. The while experience left us with a sense of family orientated business catering to all who enter.

Older building in need of some renovations and upgrades. Entrance is poorly marked, we entered through the side door because we were unsure where the front was. Furniture is outdated, beds were springy and older. It's been closed up for a couple years due to Covid and you can tell when walking through the hallways as it has a musty smell even though all windows were open.

Well worth the stay. Rustic surroundings, beautiful views.

Lynden was an exceptional host, the breakfast was perfect. Home made bread and jams, eggs, sausage and a wide variety of cereals, fruit and muffins.

Comfortable night in a rustic setting

The property was "rustic" but clean and comfortable. The host was exceptionally friendly and went out of his way to see that our needs were met.

The location seemed in the middle of nowhere and landscaping left something to be desired.
