Breakfast was excellent. It was nice to be on one large table with other guests to chat. Location was good for sightseeing.
We ‘upgraded’ to a ‘suite’ with a kitchenette outside of the main property. Although there was a sink, kettle and microwave there was no crockery or cutlery so I had to go to the breakfast room to get these. There were no curtains over the roof windows and the flats across looked straight onto our bed and dressing area. Also the street lamp shone straight through these onto your face in bad at night. Housekeeping left dirty towels on our bathroom floor (we did not leave them there) did not empty our rubbish and left the external outside door unlocked (onto the street) with all of our possessions inside. When we pointed this out to staff they seemed surprised although we were contacted by new management at end of stay and were reimbursed a nominal amount.
Minimal parking on-site.
