Location was good, room was clean, & although not used by us, the indoor pool appeared to be a nice novelty for a hotel in Kirkland lake. The room mattress & furniture was also fairly new and upkept.
The breakfast was sub-par for the cost to stay here. When travelling, we alter our expectations based on the overall region, culture, and cost that we choose. For what appeared to be the most expensive hotel (non-lodge/Inn), it fell short on that aspect.
E.g. - providing pre-cooked carton eggs with a fake yoke was a stand out for us. The selection was also small and there could have easily been a few standard items to make it better - such as a proper drip coffee. This can be easily resolved though, and if I were to stay here again, having the option of taking no breakfast at a lower cost, I could quite comfortably head over to a local dinner in town.

Very clean and very friendly staff! Overall amazing stay. Kids loved the pool and I especially loved the extremely clean room.
